    How it works

    How to sell TRON

Selling TRON with Anytime Capital takes only a few minutes:

    1. Enter the amount of TRON you want to sell.
    2. Choose how you want to be paid — bank transfer, debit card, or one of the other payout methods.
    3. If your TRX is staked for energy or bandwidth, unfreeze it first — staked TRX has a waiting period before it can be transferred.
    4. Send your TRX to the address shown, then complete verification if you have not already.
    5. Receive your money.

Energy and bandwidth, and why your transfer might cost nothing

TRON does not charge a straightforward gas fee. Every account gets a free daily bandwidth allowance that covers simple TRX transfers, and heavier operations — anything touching a smart contract, including sending TRC-20 USDT — consume energy. You can obtain energy by staking TRX, which is free but locks the coins up, or you can let the network burn TRX to cover it, which costs more but keeps everything liquid. This is why one person reports a USDT transfer costing nothing and another reports it costing several dollars: they are paying in different currencies.

Staked TRX cannot be sent until it is unfrozen

Staking TRX for energy or bandwidth also earns voting power in TRON's delegated proof-of-stake system, where token holders elect the Super Representatives that produce blocks. The trade-off is liquidity: staked TRX has to be unstaked and then wait out a fixed period before it becomes transferable. If your wallet shows a balance you cannot send, this is usually the reason. Start the unfreeze before you take a price rather than after.

TRON carries more dollars than almost anywhere

A very large share of all USDT in existence sits on TRON as TRC-20 tokens, because transfers are cheap enough to use for ordinary payments and fast enough to feel instant. That has made TRX itself useful in a specific, unglamorous way: you need it to move the stablecoins. A lot of TRX gets bought purely as fuel for USDT transfers and sold once the balance is no longer needed, which is a very different reason for selling than most assets on this site attract.

Addresses start with T, and there is no memo

TRON addresses are base58 strings beginning with the letter T. Unlike Stellar, Cosmos or TON, TRON does not use memos or destination tags — each deposit address stands on its own, so there is nothing extra to copy. The address itself is the whole of it. What you do need to check is the network: a TRC-20 token address looks nothing like an Ethereum one, and confusion between TRC-20 and ERC-20 USDT is the most common mistake in this part of the market.

How long does it take to send TRX to us?

TRON settles on TRON, where a transfer typically confirms in 1–3 minutes. TRON produces a block every 3 seconds and treats a transaction as solid after 19 further blocks — about one minute. Most exchanges credit TRC-20 USDT deposits within 1–3 minutes, which is why TRON became the default rail for everyday dollar transfers. We start your payout once the transfer has confirmed on-chain, so this is the part of a sale you are usually waiting on.

What does it cost to send TRX?

That is a TRON network fee, paid to the network rather than to us: A TRC-20 USDT transfer burns roughly $1–4 of TRX at 2025–2026 rates unless the sender stakes TRX for energy, which can cut the cost to near zero; plain TRX transfers are fractions of a cent. See /fees-and-limits for what Anytime Capital charges.

What do TRX addresses look like?

Standard address: Starts with T (34 base58 characters). The same T… address holds TRX and every TRC-20 token Check the first and last characters against the address on the payout screen before you send — a TRON transfer cannot be reversed once it is confirmed.
