    2. Choose how you want to be paid — bank transfer, debit card, or one of the other payout methods.
    3. Copy the comment from the payout screen as well as the address — TON deposits to a shared address need it to be credited to you.

The comment field is TON's version of a memo

TON deposits to an exchange or payment provider are pooled into one wallet, and the comment attached to the transfer is what identifies the sender. Wallets label the field differently — comment, memo, message, note — but it is the same thing, and leaving it blank produces a confirmed payment with no way to attribute it automatically. Copy it from the current payout screen alongside the address, and put it in the comment field rather than in a personal note in your own wallet.

Bounceable and non-bounceable addresses are the same account

TON writes the same wallet address two ways. Bounceable addresses usually begin with EQ and return funds if the receiving contract is not initialised; non-bounceable addresses usually begin with UQ and do not. It is a genuinely useful safety feature and a genuinely confusing one, because a payout screen may show one form while your wallet shows the other and both are correct for the same account. If the address you are copying differs only in that prefix from the one you expected, that is normal — but always paste the address the payout screen gives you rather than converting it yourself.

Fast, cheap, and built around sharding

TON confirms in well under a minute with a fee typically in the region of a few cents, using a sharded architecture that splits work across chains and merges them again as load changes. That design is why the network absorbed a very large number of users arriving through Telegram mini-apps without the congestion that has hit other chains at similar moments. For a sale it means the on-chain step is fast and cheap, and the wait is on the payout side.

How TON ended up independent of Telegram

The network began as a Telegram project in 2018 and was abandoned in 2020 after the US Securities and Exchange Commission took action over the token sale. The codebase was open, and an independent community picked it up and launched what is now The Open Network, governed by the TON Foundation rather than by Telegram. The relationship is close — Telegram wallet integrations drive a lot of TON's usage — but it is a partnership rather than ownership, and that distinction matters when reading news that moves the price.

How long does it take to send TON to us?

Toncoin settles on TON, where a transfer typically confirms in under 1 minute. TON confirms transfers in seconds — blocks arrive roughly every 5 seconds and finality follows almost immediately. Toncoin and USDT-on-TON transfers land fast enough that Telegram's in-app wallet treats them as effectively instant. We start your payout once the transfer has confirmed on-chain, so this is the part of a sale you are usually waiting on.

What does it cost to send TON?

That is a TON network fee, paid to the network rather than to us: Typically $0.01–$0.10 per transfer in 2025–2026 (a few hundredths of a TON), with USDT transfers at the upper end. See /fees-and-limits for what Anytime Capital charges.

Does sending TON need a comment / memo?

Yes. Exchange deposits of TON usually require a text comment (memo) to credit your account, because platforms pool deposits at shared addresses. Self-custody transfers don't need one. Forgetting the comment on an exchange deposit means a manual support recovery. Send TON without it and the transfer can be credited to the wrong account or lost, so copy both the address and the comment / memo from the payout screen.

What do TON addresses look like?

User-friendly address: 48 characters, usually starting with UQ or EQ. Base64 format; the same account can display in multiple encodings Check the first and last characters against the address on the payout screen before you send — a TON transfer cannot be reversed once it is confirmed.
